Birdsong is a BBC mini-series (totals 2 hours and 45 minutes) set during the Great War (WWI), and is about an English soldier fighting in the horrific trenches of the northern France, while at the same time he is haunted by the memories of his forbidden love affair with a French woman. This movie is based Sebastian Faulks novel, “Birdsong: A novel of Love and War”
