Note: This event has already passed.

The purpose of the Care Team is to offer short-term care and support to families of deceased and seriously wounded Soldiers until the family’s own support structure is in place. Care Teams are not mandatory, but are an additional way the battalion can provide valuable support to families. Training is critical prior to establishing a Care Team.

A Soldier/Family Readiness Group (FRG) is a command-sponsored organization of family members, volunteers, Soldiers, and civilian employees belonging to a unit, that together provide an avenue of mutual support and assistance and a network of communications among the family members, the chain of command, chain of concern, and community resources.
